〈 CHARACTER INFO 〉
CHARACTER NAME: Padme Amidala (aka Padme Naberrie)
CHARACTER AGE: 27
SERIES: Star Wars
CHRONOLOGY: After her death in Revenge of the Sith.
CLASS: Hero
HOUSING: Assigned.
BACKGROUND:
There once was a Queen of Naboo,
Who found herself under a coup,
She went and found help
And a talented whelp
And then tragedy seemed to accrue.
PERSONALITY:
When we first meet Padme in The Phantom Menace, she is a 14 year old democratically elected Queen of her people. She had been active in politics for years in her teens and even earlier as a part of many political bodies, including as the elected Princess of Theeds for 2 years (mayor, in our terminology).
That sets a lot of the scene for her as a person and continues to be a solid foundation of who she is over the next decade and almost a half. Padme is passionate, above everything else, about the peace and freedom of ordinary citizens - of her own planet foremost, but once she becomes a Senator that quickly extends to everyone else in the Galaxy. This is the key to her. She believes, thoroughly, that peace is possible and that the chance of it should be extended to everyone. When she first is stranded on Tatooine she is horrified by the fact that Anakin is a slave, even though at the time she is herself trapped without escape.
This is something that remains consistent for her across time. Padme is passionate about those without the means or ability to fight for themselves, and equally passionate that peace should always be an option. This is something that remains consistent throughout her entire life. She is compassionate in some ways to a fault, supporting Anakin when he admits to slaughtering the entire community that caused his mother's torturous death and later much further beyond that. Idealism could be said to be her greatest flaw, honestly. It blinds her to faults in others and makes it hard for her to accept that people she trusts and loves could be dangerous or go against the beliefs that she cares most about.
While her idealism and compassion are consistent across time, so is her bravery and interminable resolution. When Anakin is having nightmares about his mother dying she immediately insists they fly to Tatooine to find her and make sure that what he is dreaming about doesn't come to pass. And then when Obi-Wan's distress call comes in and they are closer than anyone else to his position, she again immediately insists they go to his rescue and basically commandeers the ship, making Anakin help her solely through his directive to keep her safe. When trapped in a gladiatorial arena she escapes her bonds by herself without any help from the Jedi there, after having already fought her way as much as she could through the initial forces they found on their way to help Obi-Wan.
When she is threatened with assassination, including one of her handmaidens who was acting as her decoy dying from one assassination attempt, she still finds it difficult to accept that there is danger to herself. Her stubbornness about danger to herself is consistent throughout her whole life. She fights against it every time protective details are assigned to her, even when it is a good idea.
At the time that she is pulled from, she has just gone through a traumatic series of events -- learning her husband and the person she went against both of their beliefs for had fallen to the dark side, the birth of her twin children, and that is definitely going to impact how she responds to things and sees them. But the key traits that she has always had and maintain are still present and the most important part of how she sees and responds to things.
POWER:
Canonically, Padme is trained thoroughly in self defense, blaster use, and diplomacy. As additions to those, she will gain these powers in game.
1. Aggressive Negotiations.
If she is in danger to the point of alarming her or risking physical harm, a holdout blaster and lockpick will appear on her person as discretely and easily accessible as possible.
2. Queen's Wardrobe
Upon feeling stressed her clothes and hair will change, no matter the setting, to clothes and hairstyles she is accustomed to having. Eventually upon use this will become something she can call upon will.
3. Handmaiden's Gambit
In lieue of having her handmaidens around, Padme gains the ability to summon a decoy of herself for approximately 30 seconds at first, with the potential for the decoy to last longer with effort and time in training. The decoy can convincingly fire with her blaster but it will never cause more than stun damage.

COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE:
[ It's a very clean, very calm background, just Padme at her new housing as she adjusts a few settings, makes sure that she can remain in a good light.
This is a different world. It is not different enough, sometimes. ]
It seems that the political climate here is troubled.
Peace is always a difficult proposition, but it seems that it has not been considered enough. There are ways to fix this, especially with a population as small as we are. We could find a way forward through this to peace for everyone.
I hope we can all gain something from this.
